1,095,000 viewed Seven’s AFL – Quarter Finals. Collingwood took the win 9.6 (60) to Melbourne’s 7.11, up 1%. 

734,000 tuned into 10’s Gogglebox Australia as the couch warmers dissected Designing the Hebrides, A I v Human: The Creativity Experiment and Prime Video’s Lioness, up 40%.

Seven won Thursday night with a primary share of 20.5% and a network share of 28.9%. 7Two has won multi channels with a 3.7% share.

393,000 began their evening with a double dose of Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away. In the first episode, Roo gave Marilyn false hope. Then, on Home and Away – Late, Felicity dreaded disappointing Tane while Dana received good news. 329,000 tuned in. Air Crash Investigation followed for 206,000 with evidence from the disappearance of EgyptAir Flight 804 leading investigators to theorise different causes for the plane’s spiral into the Mediterranean. 331,000 then watched Front Bar.

Nine’s A Current Affair (617,000) spoke to Melbourne mum Carolyn Langhans whose 17-year-old Jason went to a party but never came home after he was stabbed with a screwdriver by a gatecrasher in 2021. She is calling for harsher sentencing for the perpetrator. 97,000 then sat down for the NRL Women’s Premiership as the Knights took on the Tigers.

On 10, The Project’s (161,000 6:30pm / 264,000 7pm) looked at how more than 3.2 million Aussies use dating apps or websites, looking at a new dating app that sees you connected to your ideal partner through your DNA. Gogglebox Australia then followed as our favourite friends and family critiqued 10’s The Masked Singer Australia, Netflix’s Painkillers, Binge’s The Great British Bake-Off Celebrity and ABC’s Lily’s Life Hacks. 458,000 tuned in. 128,000 then watched The Gold. In this first episode, it’s 1983 and six armed men have stolen 26 million pounds worth of gold from the Brink’s-Mat warehouse near Heathrow Airport. 

407,000 watched ABC’s 7.30 explore how both Yes and No sides of the Voice campaign have begun hitting the streets in Western Sydney; while David Speers spoke to Kerrynne Liddle. 287,000 then watched Foreign Correspondent which detailed how two years after becoming a republic, there is a growing demand for institutions to make amends for the sins of the past in Barbados. Grand Designs: House of the Year followed for 275,000 as Kevin McCloud looked at the spectacular homes in the running to win the prestigious RIBA House of the Year award 2022. 

The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Great Australian Walks with Julia Zemiro with 163,000 tuning in to see host Julia Zemiro travel to the rugged Blue Mountains in NSW.
