TV Ratings November 23, 2021: The Dog House continues to rate well with feel-good stories

Total TV Ratings for November 16 2021

Home and Away was the top program in the total TV ratings with 1.070m viewers, this was a jump of 21% on its overnight numbers.

The Dog House Australia was the top program on 10 with 862,000 (up16%). In the episode Onyx the kelpie was joined by Missy the shihtzu and Fox the chihuahua cross in their search for new homes.

The Parental Guidance Grand Finale had 799,000 viewers as Free Range Parents, Penny and Daniel, were awarded the best parenting style by the other parents. This was up 24% on its overnight ratings.

Big Brother VIP was up 29% to 586,000 viewers while Love Island Australia was up an outstanding 147% to 541,000 viewers.

Nine has continued to rack up wins late in the TV ratings survey, once again being the #1 primary channel (19.0%) and network (28.1%) last night.

Nine aired a repeat of Travel Guides in its 7:30pm slot last night with the episode taking 488,000 viewers to Greece. 

Hamish Blake brought the Christmas cheer on Sunday night with Lego Masters and now it was his comrade Andy Lee‘s turn with The Hundred with Andy Lee Christmas special airing last night to 399,000 viewers. Lee was joined again by 100 everyday Aussies who Zoomed into the studio from all over the continent to tell viewers what the nation is really thinking about the festive season. The episode also featured its most jolly special guest ever.

Love Island Australia’s penultimate episode then brought in 162,000 viewers.

Seven

The final week of Home and Away for the year continued last night with 540,000 viewers.

Big Brother VIP then brought its lacklustre season to a close with 311,000 tuning in to see Luke Toki declared the winner

The former Australian Survivor contestant and Perth father-of-three Toki broke his fourth-place curse in the process, beating out actress and model Ellie Gonsalves and model and content creator Josh Carroll.  He commented after the win: “I’m so happy. I cannot believe it!”

Seven then aired the superhero flick Wonder Woman, bringing in 127,000 viewers.

The Project had 235,000 (6:30pm) and 381,000 (7:00pm) viewers as the show discussed the fight in Canberra over vaccine mandates.

The Dog House Australia continued its fine run of form with 535,000 viewers which was up on last week’s 521,000. The episode saw cattle cross Bear, foxie cross Cricket, and rescue greyhound Alinta searching for forever homes.

The Cheap Seats then aired its final episode of the year to an audience of 361,000 viewers.

ABC

A repeat of Anh’s Brush With Fame featured Dr Richard Harris and brought in 360,000 viewers. This was then followed by Books That Made Us as Claudia Karvan explored what truths can be uncovered about one’s self through the fictitious characters of Australian novels, with 301,000 tuning in.

SBS

The top program on SBS was a repeat of Great American Railway Journeys with 194,000 viewers.
