Nine

Nine was the top primary channel (20.0%) and network (28.1%) last night thanks in part to the finale of the first season of Parental Guidance.

Parental Guidance had 478,000 viewers as it crowned the parents with the best parenting style.

The Free Range Parents, Penny and Daniel, were awarded the best parenting style by the other parents participating in the program. The pair said of their win: “We don’t feel that our parenting style is better than others, the real win is the experience we have all shared. We have gained so much from the other parents and we just feel really grateful for that.”

A repeat of Travel Guides then took 471,000 viewers to Western Australia.

Love Island Australia then had 180,000 as Ryan Reid was dumped from the villa and left Aaron Waters upset that he was left crying because it was bad for his skin.

Seven

Home and Away was the top non-news program last night with 534,000 viewers tuning in to the Aussie TV staple.

Big Brother VIP then followed with 302,000 viewers tuning in. Curse of the Chippendales then continued with the double episode bringing in 127,000 and 111,000 viewers.

The Cheap Seats then followed with its penultimate episode of the year, bringing in 358,000 viewers.
