1,638,000 watched Seven’s John Farnham: Finding the Voice, the untold story of Australian music icon, John Farnham, up 3%.

904,000 viewed 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? Host Tom Gleisner was joined by Sam PangEd KavaleeKitty FlanaganAaron Chen and Amanda Keller, up 30%.

853,000 also tuned into 10’s Hunted Australia as gamer duo Ben and Callum were caught by the ground Hunters, up 31%.

783,000 saw ABC’s Back Roads where Heather visited the sleepy Victorian mountainside town of Walhalla, on the historic Goldfields Railway, up 16%.

Seven won Monday night with a primary share of 34.1% and a network share of 43.0%. 7mate has won multi channels with a 3.9% share.

499,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away as Mali felt disconnected from his business and Tane and Cash raced to find Felicity. Our Aussie Matildas then challenged Canada, live from AAMI Park, winning 4 – 0 in a stunning game, which saw them progress to the next stage at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. 616,000 tuned into the Pre-Game while 1,548,000 supported our sporting icons during the match and 992,000 stayed on to watch the Post-Game. Hayley Raso scored twice while Mary Fowler and captain Steph Catley secured the remaining goals.

Nine’s A Current Affair (716,000) spoke with Pat and Geoff who have lived in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley for 56 years. The couple has survived four major floods and were left shocked when their renewal notice arrived from their insurer Allianz, asking for seventeen times more than they paid last year. Then, 607,000 watched Session One of Day Five of the fifth Ashes test match while 298,000 watched Session Two and 754,000 watched Lunch. The Pre-Match was also viewed by 361,000. During the final game of the fifth test, Australia fell 49 runs short of England, ending one of the most dramatic and controversial series the game has ever seen in a draw. 

452,000 watched ABC’s 7.30 explore discussions for more police protection in Sydney after a number of shootings and looked at the pressures facing both parties as Parliament resumed. 328,000 then watched Back Roads. The series visited Cunnamulla in south-west Queensland with guest presenter, 24-year-old Yorta Yorta man and TikTok star Tom Forrest aka ‘Outback Tom’. 236,000 then stayed on for Four Corners as undercover cameras went inside Chinese fast-fashion retailer Shein’s factories for the first time and 271,000 viewed Media Watch.

On 10, The Project (179,000 6:30pm / 297,000 7pm) spoke to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese who is trying to get his Housing Bill through parliament once again, telling the panel why the government is not focused on bringing in rent freezes. The team also welcomed comedian Nate Bargatze who has travelled to Australia from the U.S. for the first time. He spoke about why he’s been shocked by everyone having Aussie accents. Which is hilarious, since we’re…Aussie. Hunted Australia then followed as a search of Fugitive couple Holly and Josh’s apartment turned up a vital piece of information, and Father-son duo, Jordan and Tharren continued to taunt the Hunters. Bayan and Eesha also took a risk using their burner phone. 362,000 tuned in. Have You Been Paying Attention? followed as the newly minted Silver Logie Award winners found out whether Ed Kavalee, Marty Sheargold, Hayley Sproull, Ray O’Leary and Alex Ward had been attentive throughout the week. They were joined by special guest quizmaster Fatman Scoop who pushed host Tom Gleisner out of the way, to ask questions just like him with hilarious results. 362,000 watched on. 109,000 then saw Celia Pacquola: Let Me Know How It All Works Out.

The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes with 69,000 tuning in to see Robson’s pursuit of finding outdoor activities to keep our mental health in tip-top condition which saw him joined by Sunderland-born actress Melanie Hill.
