TV Guide: NRL ANZAC Round on Nine

ANZAC Day Round

ANZAC Round will be live on Nine, Foxtel Go and Kayo Sports from 4:05 pm

The traditional Anzac Day clash between the Roosters and Dragons will return to Allianz Stadium on Tuesday 25th April at 4:05 pm and will be live on Nine, Foxtel Go and Kayo Sports.

After the first game, the Storm will go head-to-head with the Warriors at AAMI Park at 7:00 pm, live on Foxtel Go and Kayo Sports.

All eyes will be on the 21st ANZAC Day match between the Dragons and Roosters who will play at the newly rebuilt Sydney Football Stadium (Allianz Stadium) for the first time since 2018.

In 1927, the first ANZAC Day rugby league game was played between Glebe and Western Suburbs, but since then the clash is now between St George Illawarra and the Sydney Roosters.

Since 2009, the Storm and Warriors have also kept the tradition of clashing on ANZAC Day, as both Australia and New Zealand pay their respects to all fallen soldiers.

Despite the Dragons holding a 12-8 win record over the Roosters since 2002, the Roosters have had an edge in recent years, winning three of the past five matches the teams have played on ANZAC Day.

Earlier this month, the NRL announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with drinks company Asahi Beverages.

The renewal consolidates existing sponsorships with Asahi Beverages’ business divisions – Carlton & United Breweries and Asahi Lifestyle Beverages – into one agreement.

The deal locks in Asahi Beverages as the official Beer, Cider and non-alcohol beverage sponsor of the NRL.

Asahi Beverages’ portfolio includes some of Australia’s most-loved drinks with something for every NRL fan to enjoy, whether they’re at the ground or cheering on their team at home with friends and family.

The lead brands for the partnership will be Victoria Bitter, as the official Beer of the NRL, and Solo, the official non-alcohol beverage of the NRL.
