TikTok and Stan team up for the 2025 Awards

Streaming partner Stan joins the lineup as the platform celebrates Australia’s top creators.

The TikTok Awards are back, and they’re bigger, bolder, and going fully mainstream.

The fifth annual celebration of Australia’s top creators will take over ICC Sydney Theatre on Wednesday, 26 November, marking the event’s biggest year yet.

For the first time, the show will be hosted by Sophie Monk and streamed live on Stan, alongside a TikTok LIVE broadcast and encore screenings on 9Go!. With an expected audience of more than 4,000 creators, it’s set to be Australia’s largest creator celebration to date.

“I feel like the coolest person in the world that TikTok have asked me to host their awards for 2025 in Sydney – there’s going to be a lot of #Winners,” Monk said. “I can’t wait to be surrounded by thousands of the amazing Australian creators and hopefully try and steal a couple of their followers.”

Celebrating creators who shaped 2025

Now in its fifth year, the TikTok Awards will spotlight the creators who entertained, educated and inspired Australians across fourteen categories, including a brand-new Entertainment Creator of the Year award.

Nominees for the coveted Creator of the Year, presented by Nescafé, include Latisha Clark, Ilai Matangi, Tammy Hembrow, Jiny Maeng, and Ben Stubbs, a line-up reflecting the diversity and creativity that define TikTok’s community.

“The awards are a chance to celebrate the creativity, talent, and amazing community that makes TikTok so special,” said Simon Bates, Head of Content for TikTok Australia and New Zealand.

“It’s a night for our creators and the fans who love and support them. Last year, a staggering 3.4 million votes were cast for the nominees – we’re hoping to smash that record this year!”

“At Stan, we’re committed to celebrating entertainment in all its formats – from long-form global hits to short-form cultural moments that capture audiences everywhere,” said Michelle Chandran, Acting Marketing Director at Stan.

“TikTok has become one of the most powerful ways to connect with our fans, and the TikTok Awards are set to be a night bursting with energy, creativity and culture, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences everywhere.”

Voting is now open until 16 November, with fans encouraged to search TikTok Awards on the app to cast their votes.
