Supermassive underwent a high competitive pitch process, to become the new strategic and creative partner for Cover-More Travel Insurance.
The partnership will see the independent agency lead a major new brand campaign set to launch in December 2025, alongside managing Cover-More’s social and influencer marketing.
The pair will work together in activating the brand’s ongoing partnership with the NRL all aimed at helping Aussie travellers “worry less” when abroad.
A strong creative match
Supermassive Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Jon Austin said the agency immediately felt aligned with Cover-More’s ambitions.
“It’s such an interesting time in the travel category, and Cover-More are well and truly leaning in,” Austin said.
“They understand the need for work that creates disproportionate impact in an attention era, and from the very first conversation, we felt genuinely aligned with Steve, Sam and Chris’ ambition to connect with audiences through meaningful, interesting, attention-grabbing ideas. We’re only a month or so in, but our creative runway is already jam-packed.”
Building Cover-More
Cover-More’s Head of Brand and Partner Marketing, Steve Webster, said the brand was seeking a partner capable of bringing “energy, creativity, and cultural cut-through” to its marketing.
“From the first meeting, Supermassive impressed us with their compelling strategic thinking and bold approach to creativity, which extended from traditional channels to decidedly un-traditional ones,” Webster said.
“They’re the perfect partner to help us take Cover-More’s ‘we care more, so you can worry less’ platform to new levels.”
The Cover-More win adds to what has been a standout year for Supermassive. The agency has enjoyed a string of new business wins, international recognition and award success throughout 2025.
Among the highlights are a Titanium Shortlist at Cannes, Grands Prix wins at AdFest and Spikes, and the Sustainable Development Goals Award at The One Show.
The agency was also ranked Australia’s #2 Independent Agency and listed among the Top 20 Global Independents in The One Show’s Creative Rankings.
