Sky News Now will bring content from Sky News, Sky News Weather and Sky News Extra

Sky News Australia has announced the launch of Sky News Now, a new 24/7 channel, in partnership with Samsung TV Plus.

The new channel will bring the network’s news, opinion and documentary offering to millions of Samsung Smart TV households around the country.
 
Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service with over 90 channels and growing.
 
Available on Channel 1010 from 23 March 2023, Sky News Now brings together content from across the network’s portfolio of channels including Sky News, Sky News Weather and Sky News Extra to create a new channel programmed exclusively for Samsung TV Plus Australian viewers.

Sky News Now is the network’s latest digital content expansion, following significant growth in 2022 which saw Sky News Australia become the number one most engaging digital news brand in the country, and reaching more than nine million Australians each month across its platforms.
 
The new initiative is the first IPTV delivered channel in Sky News Australia’s portfolio of television assets.

Samsung TV Plus offers viewers 90+ live TV channels as well as thousands of movies and shows available live and on demand for free, on any connected Samsung smart TV model from 2017 onwards.

The full suite of premium Sky News content, including three 24/7 Sky News channels and the dedicated FOX SPORTS News channel, are available to watch live and on-demand on subscription television provider Foxtel and news streaming service Flash. A dedicated free-to- air regional channel, Sky News Regional, broadcasts in select locations through the SCA and WIN networks.
