Foxtel’s Selling Houses Australia returns for Season 15 from March 22nd

Selling Houses Australia

The team have their work cut out for them to turn unsellable homes into real estate gems

Foxtel original, Selling Houses Australia, returns for its 15th season with Award-winning host and real estate expert Andrew Winter, interior design expert Wendy Moore, and landscape designer Dennis Scott.

With a backdrop of rising interest rates, falling real estate values and financially strapped homeowners, the team have their work cut out for them to turn unsellable homes into real estate gems that stand out from the pack.

From all around Australia, every episode reveals a unique, troubled property and its owners in need of help for their homes which will not sell in any market.

There’s the classic Queenslander chock-full of clutter; the country home that’s dropped 25 per cent in value – and still falling, the home on the market for 10 years, the Sydney home untouched for over fifty years, and the Melbourne property that’s more demolition site than family home.

Andrew Winter said: “This season is like no other as we came off the tail end of the property boom and headed into a changing market on a downward cycle. Selling Houses Australia is like a barometer for the general housing market… and the season was flipped on its head as the residential housing market was taking a hit in both values and demand. I was nervous that we would struggle to sell, however Wendy, Dennis and I were up for the challenge, despite having the most challenging sales volumes of any season of Selling Houses Australia.”

Selling Houses Australia sees Winter, Moore, and Scott not only deliver advice and makeovers that could change the homeowners’ lives, but they also provide a wealth of real estate knowledge, design tips and money-smart style ideas that anyone can achieve in their own homes – whether they’re selling or not.

Selling Houses Australia is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia exclusively for Foxtel. Format devised by Ricochet and based upon a program originally produced by Ricochet for Channel 4. Format licensed by Warner Bros. International Television Production Limited.
