“Ollie’s deep experience at Meta Creative Shop perfectly aligns with our model”

Brand experience start-up agency Reunion has welcomed ex-metaverse lead at Meta, Ollie Beeston as partner-creative.

Previously leading APAC Metaverse at Meta’s Creative Shop, he led the development of traditional film craft, virtual production, VR, WebXR, AR and branded content for brands such as Hyundai, Cadbury, Adore Beauty and Meta’s own Oculus.

Before his stint at Meta, he was ACD at Clemenger BBDO where he worked on V Energy, Tourism Tasmania, Eclipse, Campbell Arnott’s and TAB.

Justin Hind, co-CEO and founder of Reunion said: “Steve, Dom and I couldn’t be more excited. His proven track record mirrors our commitment to data-driven strategies and customer-centric initiatives.

“Ollie’s deep experience at Meta Creative Shop perfectly aligns with our model, and we’re excited to witness his creativity flourish within our business.”

Beeston expressed he was thrilled to be joining Reunion.

“Justin and the team recognise that audiences have moved from ‘viewers’ to ‘doers’ and the agency’s customer-driven and data-centric focus is perfectly poised to capitalise on this,” Beeston said.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the leadership team at Reunion and keen to get stuck into crafting ideas that not only capture attention but also drive meaningful engagement for audiences and brands in equal measure.”

Hind revealed his new agency in June, sharing that the agency is driven to work in partnership with ambitious clients who want to make their brands more available and engaged with their customers across all touchpoints and channels.

Hind leads the agency as co-CEO and co-founder alongside Stephen Knowles, whose background includes stints at Dentsu, Downstream Marketing, Adobe and eBay.

Hind and Knowles first worked together at performance marketing company Downstream, which Knowles founded in 2005 and was acquired and integrated by Adobe in 2012.

Following the acquisition, the Hinds reunited after working together over the 10 preceding years to start WiTH Collective, while Knowles founded and led the data and experience agency, Accordant, both of which were later acquired by Dentsu as part of the Isobar Group offering. At Dentsu, WiTH Collective and Accordant worked together in partnership across digital transformation consulting, strategy, creative, customer experience and data.
