Perth Radio Ratings 2023, Survey 4: Nova holds the lead as 96FM remains second despite being down

Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top, with a 0.9 point increase from the 3rd survey of 2023. 

For another survey, Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to top the Perth breakfast slot with a 20.8% share, increasing 3.5 points from the second survey. Nova’s national drive program of Ricki-LeeTim and Joel came in at first with a 19.4% share, increasing 2.2 points from the last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39 and 40-54 demos. The station dropped 3.0 points in the 10-17 demographic but rose 8.3 points in 18-24.

The third 2023 survey saw the station rise to second with a 14.4% share. The station maintains its second position despite dropping 1.5 points for a 12.9% share.  

The station has enjoyed the biggest gain in the 18-24 demo, rising 0.6 points for 12.0%.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, decreased by 2.3 points for a share of 10.1%. The national drive show of Will and Woody increased 0.5 points in Perth for a 13.8% share.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 maintained its third place position dropping by 1.2 points with a share of 12.2%.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has decreased 1.5 points for a 12.3% share, placing second in the breakfast slot in this survey.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little dropped 0.9 points for a share of 12.7%, making it third in the drive slot. The station’s top demographic was 10-17, with 22.6%, but grew in the 25-39 demo by 0.6 points.

92.9 Triple M rose 0.3 points, for a 7.1% share, staying fourth in stations. 

The station experienced a 3.2 decrease in the 18-24 demo to take an 8.4% share, making it the fourth most popular station in the age group.

The breakfast team of Xav and Michelle have increased by 0.6 points in the breakfast slot, bringing in a share of 8.0%.

In November last year, Katie Lamb joined Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host The Rush Hour with Embers and Katie. The drive show slot rose 0.1 points for a 6.8% share.

Nine’s Perth Radio station rose 1.2 points from the third survey of 2023 for a 7.0% share.

6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl increased 1.9 points for a 11.5% share.

The station decreased 0.8 points in the 18-24 demo for a 5.9% share but rose 2.7 points in 65+.

6iX has risen 0.7 points from the third Perth radio ratings survey of 2023. 

The station’s breakfast slot with Rob and Nat rose by 0.3 points for a 4.9% share.  

The station did best in the 40-54 demo with a 6.0% share, rising 2.8 points.
