Pearman Media welcomes Tara Lamond as its group business director

Pearman Media has announced the appointment of Tara Lamond as group business director.

Dominic Pearman, founder and managing director of the agency, said of the appointment: “With experience on both the media and agency sides, including a stint in London, Tara brings a wealth of advertising and media expertise to this role, and we are thrilled to welcome her on board.”

Lamond is a former advertising director for National Geographic Channel and Fox International Channels. She was also strategic marketing manager with Foxtel’s Advertising Team and advertising manager with News Limited.

Lamond also has hands-on experience running her own business, Mandala Living. She said of her new role: “I am delighted to join Pearman Media and look forward to managing some of their key clients and advertising campaigns.

“I have known Dominic and the senior team for 20 years and am excited to play a leadership role in the expanding team,” the newly appointed group business director added.

Lamond’s in-depth knowledge of the travel sector will also be beneficial when working with Pearman’s partner PR agency Anne Wild & Associates (AWA), which shares its McMahons Point offices and collaborates on activities ranging from campaign strategy through to creative execution for a number of clients.

AWA works with clients across two key business streams, Travel and Lifestyle and Business and Innovation.

Earlier this year, Anne Wild, the managing director of AWA was been appointed to the board of Travel Lifestyle Network (TLN) as head of special projects.
