Nando’s appoints Kaimera as media agency

Kaimera x Nando's

Tom Blackburn: ‘Their planning and buying expertise, skills, and deep knowledge of the market set them apart from any other agency.’

Nando’s has appointed Kaimera to oversee its media account, taking over from incumbent Bohemia.

The independent media agency will run the account from its Melbourne base, lead by its general manager Garth Moring who previously worked the account during his time with the M&C Saatchi brand.

Kaimera has been tasked with developing the fast casual restaurant chain’s media strategy and Tom Blackburn, Nando’s Head of Brand, said of the new partnership, said he was looking forward to working with Moring and the Kaimera team.

“Their planning and buying expertise, skills, and deep knowledge of the market set them apart from any other agency. We were looking for a team that truly understood our brand and audience, and Kaimera absolutely delivered. We’re excited for what’s ahead.”

Garth Moring, general manager of Kaimera Melbourne, has long-standing experience with the Nando’s brand during his time with the now-sunsetted M&C Saatchi brand, Bohemia.

“I’ve worked on Nando’s for years, and it’s a brand that I’ve always loved,” he said.

“To now be leading their media strategy at Kaimera is incredibly rewarding. They’re one of the most vibrant, culturally connected brands in the market, and we’re looking forward to helping them grow and evolve with a bold, effective media strategy,” Moring added.

Nick Behr, CEO of Kaimera, said: “Working with Nando’s is incredibly exciting — and a huge moment for our agency. It’s proof of the incredible work Garth and the Melbourne team have put in.

“We set out to build a strong offering in Melbourne, and in just a year, we’ve built a team and won some fantastic clients. I’m unbelievably proud of Garth and excited to work with Nando’s — and, of course, to enjoy the delights of flame grilled chicken!”
