New Event: Mediaweek’s Next of the Best awards to be held on May 26, 2023

The night will feature an Under 40’s award show, and reveal the Top 50 Influencers in Australia.

Off the back of the successful launch of Mediaweek’s industry events with the Mediaweek 100 last year, Mediaweek is now proud to announce the next entry into its event calendar, The Next of the Best Awards. 

This awards night will celebrate people under the age of 40 in the media industry as well as name the Top 50 Influencers in Australia. The event will take place May 26 2023, the first night of Vivid, at the Doltone House – Heritage Wharf at Jones Bay Wharf.

Mediaweek’s Next of the Best Awards will recognise the exciting talent in the industry under 40 across media agencies, media sales, content creators, and marketing. The night will feature 12 awards selected by an industry panel of 10 experts making the Next of the Best Awards the most prestigious young talent awards in the media industry.

The applicants will be considered as both current and future leaders of tomorrow and judged on criteria that will include success, innovation, creativity, and reputation. Applications will open in early February, stay tuned to Mediaweek for full details.

To be eligible for Next of the Best Awards, the nominee must be age 40 or under (born June 01, 1983) and work in the media industry, departments include; Sales, Advertising, PR, Ad Tech, Marketing, Media Buying/ Planning, Radio, Television, and Publishing

Mediaweek wants these awards to be judged on merit as much as possible, so the application fee for the event will be FREE.

Ranking Australian Influencers

The event will also reveal the Top 50 Influencers in Australia, using world-class data to rank the Influencers who cut through the most in the past 12 months. Having the Influencers and Australia’s top talent under 40 will make for an epic networking opportunity.

The Mediaweek Next of The Best Awards will take place during the Vivid Festival and be held harbourside at Doltone House, offering fantastic views of one of Sydney’s most exciting events.

As with the Mediaweek 100, Mediaweek will partner with the industry-leading event company, Usual Suspects.
