Alex Cullen
Alex Cullen has taken on two significant new media roles following his departure from Nine earlier this year.
He is rejoining the Seven Network as a reporter and presenter while also stepping into radio as the resident sports guru on GOLD104.3’s The Christian O’Connell Show.
Kat Thomas, the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of One Green Bean, is stepping away from the business after almost two decades.
In a LinkedIn post on Wednesday she said: “After 18 years in Sydney and a decade in London I’ve decided it’s time to finally hand over the keys to One Green Bean later this year.”
“When you build a business, in my case two, and go on the journey of selling it to a network, it’s fair to say many founders move on pretty quickly. Not so in my case. I can honestly say it’s been an incredible chapter… several really, and I’ve loved it.”
Paul Bradbury has exited from his role as President and Regional CEO, TBWA, Australia & New Zealand, after almost two decades.
Bradbury, who joined the agency in 2006, oversaw TBWA Australia and New Zealand group, including TBWA Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, +61, TBWA Media Arts Lab, Eleven, Fleishman Hillard, Fabric, Bolt, and TBWA Sustain.
Omnicom has launched Omnicom Oceania, bringing together its media, creative, PR, performance marketing, and production agencies across Australia and New Zealand under a single leadership structure, led by Nick Garrett as CEO.
As CEO, he will work alongside brand agency leaders to deliver integrated solutions and a more seamless experience for Omnicom’s clients and their customers.

Sarah Kruger
Sarah Kruger has joined IAB Australia as Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, effective immediately.
The appointment sees Kruger tasked with navigating the complex regulatory landscape that underpins the digital advertising ecosystem, both locally and globally.
She will collaborate with IAB members, other trade associations, policymakers and the international IAB network to help the industry adapt to evolving legislative and compliance requirements.
Kruger most recently held the position of Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Seven West Media.
Prior to that, she was Chief Legal and Government Affairs Officer and Company Secretary at Commercial Radio & Audio (CRA). Her experience spans legal, policy and government affairs across major Australian media and technology organisations.
Big W has appointed Ryan Gracie to the role of Chief Customer & Revenue Officer of the department store chain.
Gracie joins from MyDeal.com.au where he was Chief Marketing Officer for the past four years.
He took to LinkedIn in on Thursday to share the news and called his career journey, calling it “the most significant step yet on that path.”

Greg Wallace
Greg Wallace has been appointed executive director of Ad Standards, taking on the role from August 2025.
Wallace brings over three decades of senior leadership experience spanning marketing, government, and the not-for-profit sector.
Most recently, Wallace served as general manager of the Indigenous Marathon Foundation, where he led social impact initiatives focused on community empowerment. His diverse background is seen as a strong asset as Ad Standards navigates increasing regulatory complexity and evolving public expectations.
3CPR has appointed Danielle Veivers as partner and launched a refreshed brand identity, marking a milestone for the specialist corporate and financial communication consultancy.
Established in 2021 by Paul Cheal, the firm is built on a senior-led consulting model aimed at delivering bespoke, high-impact communications to a curated list of corporate clients across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Veivers’ promotion formalises her two-year tenure working closely with 3CPR clients. She brings close to a decade of experience in public relations and communications, having held roles in both agency and in-house environments.
QMS has appointed Warwick Kiel as Victorian Agency Sales Director.
He joins the digital outdoor media company in Q4 2025 and will report to QMS Chief Revenue Officer, Alex Kerley.
Kiel will be responsible for leading QMS’ agency sales function in Victoria after Karen Clements stepped away from QMS and the industry to spend more time with her family.
He will work closely with Nick Crowe, who joined QMS in March this year as Victorian Sales Director, Independent and Direct, to further enhance the company’s commercial presence and service offering in the Victorian market.

Matt Holmes
MBCS has appointed Matt Holmes as its Head of Creative Strategy and Ideation as the agency unveils a refreshed approach.
The agency’s new approach aims to help brands stand out with ideas that reach far beyond paid media, drive talkability, cultural relevance, and real-world impact.
Holmes joins the creative arm of IPG Mediabrands to lead creative strategy and ideation across content, activations, influencer, experiential and partnerships – to bring media and creative thinking closer together from the outset.
Independent full-service marketing agency SBM has appointed James Hannan as CEO, alongside Ian Cook joining as General Manager of its Sydney operations.
The leadership changes come as the agency expands its martech and AI capabilities to support clients navigating tighter marketing budgets.
Hannan brings over two decades of experience in media, marketing and print from roles at IPMG, Independent Digital Media and Ovato. He will focus on elevating SBM’s market presence.
Cook previously held senior operations roles at BMF and Bastion and will oversee Sydney-based functions including marketing, design, production and digital services.

The Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has established a new Advisory Committee to support its strategic direction and focus on industry development, responsible marketing practices, and data-driven transformation.
The Committee includes senior marketing and business leaders from Optus, NAB, Woolworths, MECCA, Zip Co, and Deloitte. It will play a key role in guiding ADMA’s efforts to build industry capability and shape policy across marketing and data.
The announcement follows the earlier appointments of David Morgan as Chair, Steve Brennen as Deputy Chair, and Tom Goodwin—ADMA’s first international Advisory Committee member.
