It was a big week for Jack Post last week. On Thursday he got news of increased ratings and a number one FM Breakfast show on GOLDFM, but the best news came on Friday: Jack’s wife Bianca gave birth to a baby boy, Gordon.
“After a long day Friday we welcomed a new family member into the world. His name is Gordon Post,” Jack said.
“He’s happy and healthy and so is my wife Bianca. She did an incredible job, Gordy was desperate to stay in but she got him out.”
Post joked that Gordon’s arrival continued a trend amongst him and his friends.
“My best mate just named his baby Henry, and another friend has a baby Thomas. We are slowly ticking off all the trains in Thomas The Tank Engine!”
Jack is known for his work alongside Christian O’Connell on ARN’s top rating breakfast show on GOLD 104.3 in Melbourne.
Before joining GOLD104.3, Jack was well-known for his work in radio with Hamish and Andy as Cacklin’ Jack where he worked on creative and production behind the scenes for 10 years. Jack has worked in radio since the age of 15, starting out in community radio in Melbourne at SYN FM. Jack also hosts the Jacky Road Studios podcast series where he chats to guests from his home bedroom studio.
