iStories launches AI-Stories to bring agency-grade communications to small businesses

It debuts at $99 per month with no lock-in contracts.

Sydney-based PR and social media agency iStories has launched AI-Stories, a new AI-powered creative team designed to make professional communications, PR and content strategy accessible to small businesses, startups and creators.

The new tool introduces a team of 12 AI strategists, creatives and executives, structured to replicate the capabilities of a full-service communications agency at a lower cost.

Four specialist AI departments

AI-Stories provides access to four dedicated AI departments spanning social media, public relations, content and crisis communications. Each department includes three AI personas with defined roles and expertise.

The platform has been developed using the communications frameworks and experience of iStories founder and director Lee Robson, who brings more than 20 years of industry experience across Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US.

“Small businesses need professional communications support, but traditional agency retainers often put it well beyond budget,” Robson said. “AI-Stories changes that equation.”

“It’s agency-level strategic thinking and execution, but accessible to businesses that are working with modest marketing budgets, built for the new era of AI smart assistance,” she said.

On-demand AI creative teams

The social media department includes a strategic director overseeing campaign strategy, a content strategist responsible for narrative frameworks, and a senior copywriter focused on platform-optimised content creation.

The PR team is led by a head of PR, supported by specialists focused on media relations strategy and press release development, including clear news angles and quotable soundbites.

Within the content studio, the AI team covers editorial strategy, content calendars and long-form content such as blogs, articles and thought leadership pieces.

The crisis communications department focuses on response strategies, holding statements and stakeholder messaging designed to protect brand equity and reputation.

The platform also includes an AV-Studio, an AI image generation tool that produces rights-free visuals for campaigns and social content without relying on stock imagery or external designers.

Built on communications frameworks, not generic AI

Robson said AI-Stories differs from generic AI tools by being grounded in professional communications practice.

“This isn’t about replacing human creativity or strategic thinking,” Robson said. “It’s about making tailored expertise available to businesses that couldn’t otherwise afford a creative communications team.”

“Understanding your market, smart decision-making, building relationships with journalists and editors – that still requires experience and judgement,” she said. “AI just makes it possible to deliver expertise and produce content more efficiently and at a price point that works for growing businesses.”

Users interact conversationally with the AI team and can iterate through unlimited rounds of revisions until outputs align with brand voice and business objectives.

AI-Stories debuts at $99 per month with no lock-in contracts. The subscription includes access to all 12 AI team members across the four departments, unlimited revisions, and use of the AV-Studio image generation tool.

In addition, visitors to the AI-Stories website can access a free AI-generated Business Intelligence Report that offers a high-level assessment of business growth potential and recommendations across messaging, marketing, PR, and social media strategy.
