Retail agency Haeday has strengthened its Brisbane team with two senior appointments, signalling the next phase of growth for the retail specialist as it marks its fifteenth year in business.
The agency has added former Price Attack CMO Aimee Madson as retail marketing strategist, alongside award-winning art director Liam Marsden, who joins from Engine Group.
Strategic capability deepens with the addition of Aimee Madson
Madson arrives with extensive experience across retail, ecommerce, and luxury automotive.
Reporting to managing director Rachael Hockaday, she will advise clients on brand and retail strategy, customer engagement, and positioning.
Hockaday said Madson’s appointment adds valuable leadership at a time when clients are navigating rapid shifts in consumer behaviour and retail expectations.
Haeday has become renowned for delivering strategy and creativity with measurable results for our retail clients. Aimee’s leadership and strategic rigour are invaluable. She has empowered many brands through transformative journeys.”
Madson said she has long admired the agency’s work from her time as a client.
“Having previously worked with Rachael, I always admired the quality of Haeday’s work. The team is experienced and trusted, supporting and often exceeding clients’ retail ambitions. We already have a strong client roster, and I look forward to driving business growth and building on Haeday’s success.”
Creative department strengthened with award-winning hire
Marsden joins Haeday in a newly created art director role after winning multiple BADC awards for his work at Engine Group.
A QUT Fine Arts graduate, he will work across integrated campaigns and support creative director David Maunder.
Hockaday said Marsden is already contributing to the agency’s creative output.
“Liam brings fantastic creativity and attention to detail when working with brands and is already delivering some stellar work. The new pair, together with the rest of the team, will further expand the service offering we have.”
Marsden said joining Haeday felt like a natural next step.
“The chance to work on some amazing brands and deliver meaningful campaigns is something I am looking forward to. I have been following what Rachael has built with Haeday for a while. I knew it was something I had to be a part of.
“Having now worked with the team, it is easy to see why they have such long-standing relationships with clients, and I cannot wait to build on that legacy.”
Haeday’s fifteenth anniversary marks a milestone year for the Brisbane agency, which continues to broaden its capabilities across strategy, creative, and retail transformation.
