Gemma Beeley appointed as national head of digital for PHD Australia

PHD Australia has appointed Gemma Beeley to the newly created role of national head of digital.

Beely will work closely with the heads of digital in Sydney and Melbourne, leading the continued growth of PHD’s digital offering in the market.

She will report to PHD Australia’s chief operating officer Stu Bailey, who had previously headed up the agency’s digital capabilities.

Beeley joins from UM Australia where she was the head of digital. She joined the company in 2016 after relocating from the UK where she previously worked with agencies including Wavemaker (formerly MEC), UM London and Maxus.

Bailey said: “Gemma is an outstanding digital leader who has not only been a key driver of UM’s digital product but also the wider industry.”

“As part of the MFA digital steering group, I have worked with Gemma and her passion and expertise have always made her stand out. She is the ideal person to continue to drive PHD digital offering, and we are excited to have her join the team,” he added.
