Free Folk Agency - Maia O'Connor and Caylin Cannon

Teagan West: ‘Work is already underway and we are looking forward to making the Australian GP an event not to miss on the national sporting calendar.’

Free Folk Agency has added two new hires to its Melbourne office, appointing Maia O’Connor as Senior Account Manager and Caylin Cannon as Account Executive.

The appointments follow a series of client wins across the agency’s national network, including the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Metagenics ANZ brand portfolio.

Free Folk has also been named the Australian PR partner for the World Supercross Championship.

The agency will work on the Australian GP alongside London-based sports and entertainment agency The Space Between and the global World Supercross team.

Free Folk Agency Co-Founder and Head of Client Services Teagan West said the opportunity to be the trusted local partner for a global brand and much-loved sporting event is a credit to the Agency’s commitment to sharp, earned-first strategies powered by a startup mentality.

“Our appointment marks an exciting chapter for the agency and speaks to our proven track record, five-star team and the industry-leading network of media, influencers, suppliers and industry professionals who sit in our back pocket,” West said.

“Work is already underway and we are looking forward to making the Australian GP an event not to miss on the national sporting calendar,” she said.

Free Folk’s client base spans health and wellness, food and beverage, sport, tourism, family and parenting, business, retail and eCommerce, as well as strategic communications and corporate PR projects.
