Fox 101.9’s Fifi, Fev & Nick has hit the airwaves in a new campaign that reinforces the trio’s strong connections with the hearts and minds of Melburnians.

The Fox 101.9 campaign features a catchy jingle that is bound to become an earworm around the city as it bounces across the screen karaoke-style, Fifi, Fev & Nick are “Your mates on radio, it’s Melbourne’s favourite show.”

The commercial shows a series of the Breakfast Show team’s best and most loved moments in vignettes, such as Fifi as the Moomba Queen, breaking a Guinness World Record for the longest marathon for a radio music show at 27 hours, the famous singles nights parties, and Fev’s Guinness World Record mark.

The bespoke jingle was created by Fifi, Fev & Nick’s executive producer Leon Sjogren, with sound production by the Hit Network’s famous David Konsky, aka DJ Konsky.

Nikki Clarkson, SCA chief marketing officer, said: “The jingle was the basis of the idea, along with the development of three new and lovable animated characters of Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody.

“The aim of the campaign is to ensure the creative is reflective of Melbourne’s no. 1 Breakfast show. It’s distinctive and different from the usual radio approach and we guarantee Melburnians will be singing along before they know it.”

The Fox campaign will run on free TV, BVOD, socials and cinema throughout the year.

Earlier this year, Fifi, Fev & Nick have successfully broken the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon for a radio music show DJ (team).

The team was under very strict rules from on-air talking, music, ads and content, but their efforts were rewarded after completing the record just after 9am.

Among some of the efforts the Box, Fevola and Cody, and Shala used to stay up included exercise equipment such as a stationary bike, pilates reformer and dance parties during music breaks.
