EMG / Gravity Media Australia has extended its production and broadcast partnership for Crankworx Cairns, continuing to deliver global coverage via Red Bull TV.

EMG / Gravity Media Australia has reaffirmed its commitment to Crankworx Cairns, extending its broadcast and production role through to 2027 while also signing on as a marketing partner for the international mountain biking festival.

The partnership, announced today, continues EMG / Gravity Media’s involvement with Crankworx since the event’s Cairns debut in 2022.

Broadcast via Red Bull TV

Working with production company Boombox and AusCycling, the event’s rights holder and local organiser, EMG / Gravity Media provides global broadcast coverage of the festival, streamed internationally via Red Bull TV.

For the 2024 event, EMG / Gravity Media deployed 29 cameras across 60 positions, incorporating drones and specialty units to cover five rainforest courses.

The production utilises EMG / Gravity Media’s fibre network and technical infrastructure to deliver live global coverage.

Held at Smithfield MTB Park in Far North Queensland, Crankworx Cairns spans five days and features competitions across multiple disciplines, including Downhill, Pump Track, Dual Slalom and the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship.
