Edge Marketing adds SEO expert Luke Gosha to lead AI-driven search strategy

His appointment is effective immediately.

Gold Coast-based Edge Marketing has appointed international AI and SEO specialist Luke Gosha as Head of Search & AI Strategy.

This move will strengthen the agency’s AI-led search capability as brand discovery shifts across search engines and large language models.

Gosha’s past experiences and responsibilities

Gosha joins the independent agency following a tenure at London-based brand and performance agency StrategiQ, where he served as Head of Search & AI.

His appointment signals a strategic investment in unlocking new growth opportunities for clients as AI reshapes how consumers find and engage with brands online.

In the newly created role, Gosha will oversee Edge’s SEO and AI strategy, with a focus on translating global best practices into scalable, revenue-driving outcomes for Australian brands.

His remit includes identifying growth opportunities emerging from AI-led search, embedding advanced SEO and AI methodologies into client strategies, and mentoring the agency’s senior search specialists.

Edge CEO comments

Edge CEO and Director Rohan Dwyer said the move was about opportunity rather than disruption.

Rohan Dwyer

“At Edge, we believe AI-driven search represents one of the most significant commercial opportunities the industry has seen in decades. This is a senior, business-critical role at the centre of how Edge will safeguard existing client performance, but to also actively help our clients gain competitive advantage by applying proven AI-led search. We see this shift as a massive opportunity for businesses that are prepared to lead,” Dwyer said.

“Our global search was about finding someone who has already succeeded in a market where AI-led search is advanced, highly competitive and commercially proven. Luke brings that experience, along with the ability to translate it into practical, measurable outcomes for Australian clients.”

From London to Burleigh Heads

Gosha brings more than a decade of international experience across agency and in-house environments, spanning technical SEO, commercial leadership and service innovation.

During his time in the UK, he worked in one of the world’s most competitive SEO markets, embedding AI into performance frameworks and scalable growth strategies across multiple sectors.

Dwyer said it was Gosha’s ability to convert technological change into tangible business outcomes that stood out.

“Luke stood out immediately for his growth mindset. He understands how to convert complexity into opportunity, and that capability will be invaluable for our clients as search continues to evolve,” he said.

“Above all, we were looking for a great human. Luke embodies the values-driven culture we care deeply about at Edge, and we’re excited about what this means for our clients and our team.”

Gosha, who will be based at Edge’s Burleigh Heads head office and report directly to Dwyer, said he was keen to bring proven global thinking into the Australian market.

“Having been involved in search marketing for well over a decade, I’ve helped many brands navigate the changing nature of search. Having been based in the UK for most of my career I’m looking forward to bringing my skills, expertise and character to Edge, that creates a genuine competitive advantage for Edge’s clients,” Gosha said.

“Edge has a clear vision for how AI can be used to drive growth, not just efficiency, and I’m excited to work with a team that is focused on long-term client outcomes.”

His appointment is effective immediately.
