DAZN and Tabcorp have launched WorldPlay, a global sports games platform tied to the FIFA World Cup, with Australian players eligible to win a $20 million prize for a perfect bracket.
The platform, available at worldplay.com and on DAZN Bet, went live across Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and Austria – creating an addressable market of nearly 200 million people from its first edition.
The free-to-play format allows fans to predict the outcome of every knockout match from the Round of 32 through to the Final.
Australian players compete for an AUD $20 million perfect bracket and final score prize, with a guaranteed AUD $500,000 prize pool.
In the UK, Germany, Spain, and Austria, the top prize is £1 million, with a guaranteed £50,000 prize pool (or euro equivalent).
The perfect bracket prize goes to any eligible player who correctly predicts every knockout match and accurately calls the final score of the Final. If multiple players achieve the feat, the prize is shared equally.

Global scale, local play
DAZN Group chief executive officer Shay Segev said the partnership with Tabcorp marked the beginning of a broader global collaboration.
“DAZN is reimagining how fans engage with sport on a global scale, and WorldPlay is an extension of that ambition,” Segev said.
“By bringing a gaming experience to fans across multiple markets, we are turning the world’s biggest sporting event into an opportunity for even more interactivity and connection. This partnership with Tabcorp marks the beginning of a global collaboration, combining DAZN’s built-for-sport platform with innovative gameplay to unite fans around the World Cup.”
Tabcorp managing director and chief executive officer Gillon McLachlan said WorldPlay represented a move into new entertainment territory for the wagering company.
“WorldPlay reflects Tabcorp’s ambition to build new sports entertainment experiences in new categories,” McLachlan said.
“It shows how Tabcorp and DAZN can use their local and international sports experience to build new sports entertainment products in new categories. It is free to play, globally scalable, and designed to create fan experiences beyond traditional wagering.”
WorldPlayHQ programming
The platform launched with local-language versions across participating markets. It is also supported by WorldPlayHQ, a new studio-style sports programme broadcast on DAZN in selected countries, including the UK. The show features contributors from around the world and is produced in English three times a week.
The companies said future editions of WorldPlay would expand to additional markets, subject to local laws and regulatory approvals, with new game formats planned for other major sports, alongside premium subscription features and fantasy draft-style experiences.
