Connected Digital has announced a host of new client wins and strategic addition to its team.

In the past few months, the independent media agency has added a range of new clients to its portfolio, including Australian Geographic, Deltora Diamonds, Eir Women, and Aon’s Human Capital Solutions.

These new clients follow in the footsteps of Sanitarium and Forbes Australia, who recently joined the Connected Digital team.

Connected Digital already works with the Aon team on their HIAIS business, and they’ve now been tasked with delivering the same transformational results for Aon’s Human Capital Solutions business.

Eir Women is a supplements business founded by Lisa Walker and Kate Guaran, who were both clients of Connected at separate companies.

Walker said of the appointment: “When it came to partnering with a media company for our new launch, there was no question that we would choose Connected Digital. They have proven they know our audience and can deliver ROI based on our brief, and were our first choice.”

Reflecting on the client wins, CEO Laura Hamod Barnes said: “Over the last decade, most of our client growth has been organic. There’s no greater compliment than when our clients recommend us to others, or when they move companies and take us with them.”

In addition to the new clients, Connected has also announced the appointment of Nicole Smith as senior account director.

Smith brings over eight years of industry experience across agency and client-side roles in Australia and the UK. Smith has worked across a variety of industries including FMCG, printing, automotive, and charity.

“We’re excited to welcome Nicole to the Connected team,” said Hamod Barnes. “With her diverse experience, she has a great understanding of clients’ needs and the challenges they face. From day one, she has brought positive energy to our team, and we are confident she’ll be an invaluable asset to our clients.”

Reflecting on her new role, Smith shared: “After living in the UK and Singapore, I am excited that I could find the perfect role close to home. From my initial meetings with Connected, I got such a great feeling, and I am enjoying getting to know the team. We get to work with great clients and produce a really high standard of work. I am looking forward to getting stuck in and using my experience to help drive results.”

Connected Digital’s focus on results, obsession with numbers, and ability to drive performance has helped the agency grow significantly over the past decade, largely through referrals and clients taking the agency with them when they move companies.

Barnes said: “We’re proud of the work we’ve done for our clients and the relationships we’ve built with them. We look forward to continuing to drive growth and results for our clients, both longstanding and new.”
