COMvergence produces country New Business Barometers based on media account moves and retentions

COMvergence has released its Media Agency New Business Barometer report for 2022.

This report has revealed that Atomic 212° has taken the #1 position in terms of new business wins during 2022 with client gains of $US60 million of new business last year.

OMD had the largest new business total, including retentions with $US164 million, which included $US41 million in new client wins. This includes 1300Smiles Dentists, Australian Museum, Barangaroo Reserve, Beiersdor, BHP, Burberry, Cancer Institute, Coles, icare, Maven Dental Group, NSW Government, NSW Police Force, TAFE NSW, Taronga Zoo and Transport for New South Wales.

Wavemaker was #2 for both new client wins including retentions with $US88 million and new business wins $US55 million. The agency’s client wins and retentions include Audible, Berries Australia Ltd., Fortescue Metals Group, iinet, Mondelez, Riot Games, Rosemary Health Rosemary, Swyftx and TPG Telecom.

The #1 rankings put Atomic 212° ahead of the other local independent media agencies.

New clients that partnered with the agency during 2022 included Entain Australia (Ladbrokes, Neds), Aware Super, Salesforce, Freedom Kitchens, Price Attack, Sydney Water and Zambrero. It also retained Origin Energy, Beyond Blue and Spirit of Tasmania.
