CADA’s Flex & Froomes are celebrating summer with ALWAYS SUNNIE: A Flex & Froomes Live Recording, powered by Specsavers.

The partnership, which was brokered by media agency Initiative, will see CADA take over Sydney’s most iconic beach club, The Island, on February 3rd.

The hosts will take to the stage and bring their show to life in front of a live audience before it goes to air the following week.

The live-show recordings will remix the classic Flex & Froomes radio show with core topics inspired by Specsavers.

Diving deep into fashion culture, from sunglass trend cycles to how they shape an outfit and the direct relationship between culture and fashion.

The event will be exclusive to friends of the show alongside competition winners. Attendees can expect pic-worthy views of Sydney’s iconic harbour, while resident CADA DJ Carolina Gasolina spins the hottest summer throwback anthems.

Competition winners will get their hands on a $199 Specsavers voucher along with a bunch of other goodies, plus giveaways and a chance to meet the queens, Flex & Froomes.
Andy Walsh,
CADA’s head of commercial strategy, said of the exciting partnership: “Specsavers is an institution, and it is a privilege for CADA to collaborate on such an impactful campaign format. For Gen Z, everything is entertainment, so immersive content experiences like this are vital in establishing the next generation of loyal customers. Audiences can definitely expect something special on Sydney Harbour.”
Shaun Briggs
, Specsavers director of marketing planning, said: “Working with CADA on this partnership has been a great collaboration from the beginning. We wanted to work with people who were just as connected with their audience as we are with our customers.
“Partnering with CADA allows Specsavers to reach an engaged Gen Z audience in a way that feels natural and exciting for both brands and our audiences. We are excited to deliver something special come February.”
