Britt Arthur named CEO of the Australian International Documentary Conference

Britt Arthur new CEO/conference director of Australian International Documentary Conference

The board of the Australian International Documentary Conference has appointed Britt Arthur as the CEO/conference director of the AIDC. Arthur combines a background in event management with a demonstrated commitment to and passion for, the factual sector of the industry. During her career Arthur has worked in various capacities on over 120 hours of programming for commercial and public broadcast.

She has worked across several top rating series including Grand Designs Australia, Married at First Sight, MY:24, The Force and the Australian version of Who Do You Think You Are? Her independent documentaries (SMUT HOUNDS, Life Architecturally, My Uncle Bluey and Not in Front of the Kids) have been met with critical acclaim and screened in several prestigious film festivals.

The board has also appointed Kerry Herman to the role of conference producer. Herman has over 25 years’ experience in event management across a range of industries including conferences and awards for the AFIs, SPA and the ADG. She has also produced two documentaries and pitched at international pitching competitions.

The 28th annual AIDC conference will be held from Sunday 28th February to Wednesday 2nd March 2016.
