Bonfire said the promotions follow new client wins over the past year, including Cancer Council WA, Luma and Persich. The agency is also a Digital Agency of the Year finalist in Campaign Brief WA’s awards.
Who has been promoted at Bonfire?
Forward has been promoted to the newly created role of performance media team leader after 10 years at Bonfire. She joined the agency in 2016 and was most recently senior performance media specialist.
“I am thrilled to step into this new role, leading paid media and digital strategy for our business,” Forward said.
“I am excited to bring a fresh perspective, new ideas and passion to the team, and am ready to help our clients grow through powerful, data-backed advertising.”
Di Giovanni has been promoted to head of marketing, overseeing Bonfire’s client marketing activity. He joined Bonfire in 2022 after marketing and brand consultant roles at Business Station and Modular Studio.
Di Giovanni has also worked across agency, not-for-profit and start-up environments, and was co-host of Kill Your Logo, a brand and marketing podcast for small businesses. This year, he was named a finalist for Campaign Brief WA’s Marketing Manager of the Year award.
“The best marketing I’ve done is hard to separate from the relationships behind it,” Di Giovanni said.
“Understanding is what produces team members who are genuinely invested, clients who trust your judgement and customers who come back without being chased. This is the ethos that’s underpinned marketing at Bonfire and will continue to be the foundation of my team and the work we deliver for our clients.”
New senior specialist roles
Simon Bruno has been promoted to the newly created role of data and analytics lead after nearly five years at Bonfire. He was previously SEO and data technician, and brings close to a decade of experience in SEO, analytics and digital marketing strategy.
Brodie McMaster has been promoted from senior performance media specialist to performance strategy lead. McMaster, who is based at Bonfire’s new Melbourne agency, joined the business four years ago after working as a copywriter and digital marketing coordinator.
Anastasia Sipsas has been promoted from digital account executive to senior account executive after five and a half years with the agency. Before joining Bonfire, she worked in digital marketing with Sport Pass and Guide Dogs WA.
Brayden Zuin has moved from performance media executive to senior performance media specialist. Zuin joined Bonfire in 2023 and was a 2025 Supernova of the Year finalist, recognising emerging talent in Western Australia.
Lovisa Jägrell has been promoted from marketing co-ordinator to the newly created role of brand, activations and events specialist. She joined Bonfire in 2024 after roles at Lease Equity and Stockland, and is the current event lead for the Western Australian Marketing Association.
Sam Marshall has been promoted from digital account executive to senior account executive. Bonfire said his experience working with the agency’s SEO team and writing client content made him suited to the expanded role.
Internal growth focus
Bonfire has an average employee tenure of 8.5 years, with the agency saying internal progression remains central to its growth strategy.
Alex Gavalas, general manager of strategy at Bonfire, said the promotions reflected the group’s contribution to clients and the wider business.
“Great work creates momentum within a business and Madison, Simon, Rob, Brodie, Brayden, Lovisa, Anastasia and Sam have all demonstrated their commitment to delivering outstanding results for Bonfire’s clients, and the broader business,” Gavalas said.
“Their new roles reflect their talent, dedication and leadership that is helping to drive Bonfire forward. Collectively, they make a lasting impact on our clients, our team and our continued growth. We are proud to foster an environment where careers flourish and long-term success is built together.”
All appointments are effective immediately.
