Bohemia and media industry leaders across Sydney and Melbourne have celebrated the brand’s relaunch and commitment to “move people through handcrafted memorable media”.

The media agency’s new positioning was unveiled at a series of roadshows, dubbed “Boshows,” in Sydney and Melbourne over the past few months in front of more than 100 industry partners.

The roadshows focused on highlighting Bohemia’s new positioning, with the agency using a combination of intelligence and intuition to move people through handcrafted memorable media, creating bespoke solutions and processes for each of its clients, and a handcrafted experience for its people.

Bohemia CEO Paul Hutchison worked closely with media partners, industry consultants, staff and clients in the lead-up to the refresh, to help redefine Bohemia for the future, and re-state how the agency would help clients and brands grow.

Hutchison said: “We cannot move people through handcrafted memorable media without the expertise and passion of our media owner partners. Transforming how the media agency community collaborates with partners is critical to us, in terms of meeting our clients growth ambitions as well as ours and those of our media owner partners.

“Lifting the lid on our clients and our business, agreeing how we will work together, and making 11 firm commitments to the levels of service and behaviours our partners can expect of us are all parts of becoming the market’s best agency partner – and that’s the goal I have set our Bohemia team.”

Industry partners from across the country remarked on the “new Bohemia”, welcoming in the new era for the agency.

Seven West Media national sales director, Natalie Harvey, said: “Bohemia’s new positioning of moving people through handcrafted memorable media was music to my ears.

“It’s the perfect balance of creativity, performance, and technology, but most importantly, it’s underpinned by a deep understanding of clients’ business challenges. Bohemia’s commitment to better partnerships will produce better outcomes for their clients. I’m loving this new era of the Bohemia crew.”

Kate Blakeley, ARN Sydney sales director, said of the road show experience: “Having that time with the Bohemia team to be intimately taken through its ‘Boshow’ was an experience we rarely get from the market. Bohemia’s newly articulated approach resonates so succinctly with media sales, as our industry is all about the connection we have with our clients.

“Within their upfronts, Bohemia went a step further, to provide its partners with the opportunity to connect with targeted clients (beyond the brief) with thought starters around how media owners can help drive bigger business outcomes into 2023. The future feels certainly bright for the Bohemia team as they step into this new era for their business.”

Tim Elder, oOh! Boutique & Independent Agencies Direct national head of sales, said: “As a valued partner of oOh!’s, we’re excited to see this confident, forward step in Bohemia’s approach to solutions for their clients and brands. The new positioning is an evolution of their strong heritage in creating strategic, audience engagement; I have no doubt this collaborative and humanised approach will create better audience connections and lead to a new era of success for Bohemia.”

Tamina Muir, Sports & Entertainment Network general manager – Agency and Key Clients, said: “It was great to have Bohemia in to share Boho’s vision of their new ethos and systems they are putting in place to get the very best results for clients.

“It was extremely helpful to hear exactly how, as content producers, we can best collaborate to help in that vision. Our strategy and solutions team joined and it was wonderful for them to connect first hand with the process and will help ensure the best, client based responses are presented.”
