Broadsheet, Australia’s cultural and lifestyle publisher, has announced the launch of Broadsheet Dine Out, a new food festival set to activate venues across Melbourne and Sydney this August.
Running from 4–10 August in Melbourne and 11–17 August in Sydney, the week-long event will feature over 80 restaurants, bars, bakeries and gelaterias, offering limited-time collaborations and curated experiences.
The festival is designed to support the hospitality industry during the typically slower winter trading period. “The launch of Broadsheet Dine Out gives our audience another reason to step out and experience the best our cities have to offer, while providing venues with a platform to showcase their creativity,” said Chrissy Voss, Broadsheet Commercial Director.
The initiative is presented in partnership with Mastercard, Square, and Cat Amongst the Pigeons wine. “Dining is one of those passions; it’s about more than just a meal – it’s about connection and creating memories.” said Florencia Aimo, Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Australasia at Mastercard. “Together, we’re delivering experiences that go beyond food — moments that are priceless.”
Stacey Lowther, Head of Marketing at Square in Australia, added, “Dine Out is a celebration of the local venues that shape the fabric of our neighbourhoods — and that’s exactly what Square is here to support.”
This marks Broadsheet’s most ambitious event to date, aimed at bolstering foot traffic and celebrating the innovation of Sydney and Melbourne’s culinary scenes.
