•  Singles: Three-peat for Lukas Graham, Hilltop Hoods narrowly miss #1
•  Albums: The 1975 #1 with second album and one of five debuts in top 10

Singles
Lukas Graham has moved from February into March as a chart-topper as the act celebrates a third week at the top of the ARIA Singles chart with “7 Years”.
Just missing out on top spot is Hilltop Hoods with “1955” which has climbed from #6 to #2 on its fourth week on the chart.
Another potential #1 is Rihanna’s “Work” featuring Drake which lifted from #10 to #5 on its fifth week in.
Other substantial movers this week included Daya with “Hideaway” which bounced from #24 to #13 in its third week.
Alan Walker and “Faded” lifted from #54 to #20 in its second week for the British-born, Norwegian-raised producer.
Five new songs made their debut inside the top 50 this week:
#21 “Dance Off” from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
#24 “Piece By Piece” from Kelly Clarkson
#38 “It’s You” from Zayn as his former #1 “PillowTalk” drops from #3 to #8 after 12 weeks
#39 “Work From Home” from Fifth Harmony featuring Ty Dolla $ign
#47 “New Romantics” from Taylor Swift

Albums
The 1975 pick up their first #1 on the Aussie charts with an album that carries a very long title – “I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It”. This is their second album after their self-titled debut album which was, of course, just two words.
The 1975’s album was just one of four other newbies to crack the top 10 on debut. The others were:
#3 “Youth Revival” from Hillsong Young and Free
#6 “This Unruly Mess I’ve Made” from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
#7 “Hands Like Houses” from Canberra post-hardcore outfit Dissonants
#8 “Hills End” from Sydney band DMA’s
A fair bit of action outside the top 10 too on the album chart this week.
A re-release of Michael Jackson’s “Off The Wall” album pushed the five-times platinum album back into the chart at #17.
Other newcomers landing in the top 50 this week:
#19 “Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage” from Steel Panther
#32 “Legacy Volume 1” from Celtic Thunder
#39 “Ignite The Night” from Chase Rice
#41 “George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison” from Various Artists
