Nova Podcasts adds Do You F***ing Mind? to growing roster

The show is hosted by cognitive neuroscientist Alexis Fernandez.

NOVA Entertainment has added Do You F**ing Mind?* to its Nova Podcasts network, continuing its push to expand its slate of high-growth, creator-led audio brands.

Hosted by cognitive neuroscientist Alexis Fernandez, the self-development podcast blends neuroscience and psychology with a direct, no-frills approach to mindset and behaviour change.

A fast-growing podcast brand

Since launching during Fernandez’s Master’s in Neuroscience, the podcast has built a highly engaged audience, recording around 125,000 monthly downloads in Australia and more than 300,000 globally.

The show follows a structured format, with Monday episodes focused on deep dives into behaviour and identity, and Friday “Head Noise” episodes tackling listener questions.

Beyond audio

Do You F**ing Mind?* has evolved into a multiplatform brand, extending across social media, live events and digital products.

Fernandez has built a combined social following of nearly 200,000, with the brand also expanding into ticketed live shows, reflecting growing demand for creator-led experiences.

Scaling through Nova

Fernandez said joining Nova Podcasts will help take the show to a wider audience.

“This podcast has always been about helping people understand themselves better… joining Nova Podcasts allows me to keep sharing that message at a much bigger scale,” she said.

Rachel Corbett, Network Director of Nova Podcasts, said the show’s success lies in its clarity and authenticity.

“Do You F***ing Mind? combines credible science with a no-BS approach to mindset… it’s a standout brand with a highly engaged audience and a compelling opportunity for partners,” Corbett said.

Expanding the network

The addition follows a run of high-profile podcast signings for Nova, including Relatables and Two Broke Chicks, as the network continues to build out its portfolio of creator-led content.

Nova Podcasts’ broader slate includes partnerships with publishers and creators across multiple verticals, positioning the network as a key player in Australia’s evolving audio market.
