Keshet International and the Seven Network have launched a second FAST channel on 7plus, expanding their partnership following the success of True Crime Files.
The new channel, titled Trucking Hell, is dedicated to Crackit TV’s factual entertainment series of the same name. Keshet International has licensed nine seasons of the program, totalling 159 hours, to Seven for its free streaming platform.
Trucking Hell follows the work of Crouch Recovery, a family-run heavy rescue operation in the UK. Each episode documents large-scale vehicle recoveries on Britain’s roads, from rollovers and collisions to major motorway blockages.
The series focuses on the full recovery process, from the initial emergency call through to final clearance. Filmed in live traffic and often harsh conditions, it highlights the specialised equipment and crews required to keep major road networks moving.
The launch follows the debut of True Crime Files on 7plus in December last year. That FAST channel features true crime content produced predominantly by Woodcut Media, including World’s Most Evil Killers, Jo Frost on Killer Kids and Murdered in the Line of Duty.
7plus now offers more than 50 FAST channels and continues to post strong growth. The platform reports year-on-year consumption growth of 58 per cent, with live viewing up 84 per cent and on-demand viewing up 30 per cent. It has 15.4 million verified registered users, including 1.4 million new registrations added in 2025.
Richard Henson, Director of Distribution and Content Partnerships at Seven Network, said FAST viewing on 7plus had surged this year. “Streamed FAST channel minutes are now up 68 per cent year-on-year, with an average monthly audience of 618,000, up 18 per cent year-on-year,” he said.
Kelly Wright, Managing Director of Distribution at Keshet International, said the company was continuing to invest in the FAST space locally. “Australia’s VoD services and FAST channels are going from strength to strength, so we are excited to be cementing our partnership with 7plus to launch Trucking Hell, our second FAST channel together,” she said.
Elaine Hackett, Founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer of Crackit TV, said the series had already proven its international appeal. “Having witnessed the success in the UK and globally for our Trucking Hell brand, we are delighted that a FAST channel is being launched for fans of the series in Australia,” she said.
