7-Eleven Australia partners with Dakar Rally winner Daniel Sanders

The partnership also connects to 7-Eleven Australia’s long-standing relationship with Mobil.

7-Eleven Australia has signed Australian motocross star Daniel Sanders to a long-term partnership, announcing the deal as he leads the 2026 Dakar Rally.

With Sanders as a brand ambassador, the partnership spans content and activations that reflect the realities of Australian driving culture and endurance sport.

Sanders, the 2025 Dakar Rally winner, grew up on an apple orchard in Victoria’s Yarra Valley and regularly splits his time between high-performance racing and life on the farm.

The partnership also connects to 7-Eleven Australia’s long-standing relationship with Mobil, whose fuels are developed and tested in extreme motorsport environments.

“This partnership is about backing performance over time, not just showing up for a single logo moment,” said Matt Keogh, chief commercial officer at 7-Eleven Australia.

“Daniel represents endurance, preparation and resilience, qualities that resonate with how Australians fuel up and keep moving, whether they’re crossing the country, racing across continents or simply heading out at dawn to manage the family orchard.”

Sanders, whose story is also the subject of a recently released documentary, said the partnership reflects a shared mindset rather than a single race.

“Dakar is one of the hardest things you can do in motorsport, but it’s just one chapter in a much bigger journey,” Sanders said.

“Whether I’m prepping for desert stages or out on the farm before sunrise, having partners who understand endurance, preparation and everyday logistics makes all the difference.”
