StackAdapt boosts Australian presence with two senior hires

The business, which now employs a team of over 30 locally, achieved almost triple digit growth in Australia in H1 2025.

StackAdapt has added two senior leaders to its Australian commercial team as the adtech company continues its rapid expansion journey across the local market.

The AI-powered advertising and marketing platform has appointed Chris Scudder as Sales Director, NSW, and Sam Schneider as Sales Director, Victoria.

The hires come as StackAdapt closes out a year of strong momentum, with the business recording almost triple-digit growth in H1 2025 and expanding its Australian workforce to more than 30 people.

Strengthening the local footprint

Scudder and Schneider will join a team led by ANZ Sales Director Dan O’Connor, who stepped into the role earlier this year.

Their appointments add further depth to StackAdapt’s sales and client leadership ranks as demand for programmatic solutions continues to rise across the region.

With a background spanning programmatic advertising, retail media, and international market expansion, Scudder has held senior roles at Quantcast, Flybuys and Coles, where he led high-performing teams and helped scale operations in new markets.

“I’m excited to once again work with Dan and the wider StackAdapt team during such a pivotal moment of global growth. Showcasing to leading brands and agencies across the region what’s truly possible with StackAdapt is an exciting prospect with enormous potential,” Scudder said.

Boosting programmatic capabilities

Based in Victoria, Schneider brings extensive experience in digital transformation and programmatic strategy. During his time at MiQ, he delivered data-led marketing solutions for major blue-chip brands and developed strategies that connected media, technology and performance.

“I’m thrilled to join StackAdapt and be part of a company that’s redefining what’s possible in digital advertising. I look forward to helping our partners harness the full potential of programmatic to achieve their business goals,” Schneider said.

According to O’Connor, the dual appointments reflect StackAdapt’s commitment to building a strong local presence as it heads into another year of ambitious regional growth.

“To bring on two staff the calibre of Chris and Sam is a real sign of intent for where the business is heading in Australia. We’re delighted to have them join our growing team and they will undoubtedly play a big role in our future growth,” he said.

With expanded leadership in NSW and Victoria, and growing demand for AI-powered programmatic tools, StackAdapt is positioning itself for what it describes as a “strong year ahead”.
