Nova partners with Signal for Nova Unite

Nova Unite will provide clients and partners the ability to utilise Nova’s powerful first-party data

Nova Entertainment is launching Nova Unite, a first-to-market addressable media solution that will deliver laser consumer targeting at scale and data-driven media campaigns fuelled by a partnership with Signal, a global leader in real-time people-based marketing.

Nova Entertainment will enable clients’ access to highly targeted media, driven by valuable audience insights and exclusive people-based audience segments. These segments are based on key demographic, lifestyle and purchase-based data.

As a market-leading offering, Nova Unite will provide clients and partners the ability to utilise Nova’s powerful first-party data, coupled with the known data of highly qualified audiences powered by Signal’s people-based marketing platform, enabling data-driven media campaigns with laser targeting at scale to deliver clients superior return on investment.

Peter Charlton, Nova Entertainment’s group sales director, said, “Nova Unite will allow us to address customers holistically across any device and marketing channel. We can now deliver media campaigns giving our clients the ability to target real people, providing them with insight into who they are targeting. This new partnership enables digital advertisers and media buyers access to rich, known shopper audiences that are exclusively available through AmplifyIQ (a new name for Signal’s  exclusive audience solution). Our clients will be able to leverage over 150 pre-built customer segments, comprising over seven million active customers, over 10 million weekly shopper transactions with coverage across 65% of Australian households.

“We’re thrilled to partner with an innovative company like Nova Entertainment that understands the value of first-party data in helping digital advertisers efficiently engage on a one-to-one basis with today’s always-on consumers,” said Michael Twomey, Signal’s SVP of people-based marketing.

Nova Unite will be available to clients from January 2017.

The Nova partnership coincides with Signal’s announcement it has expanded Australian operations to further service a growing client base across the Asia Pacific region, opening a second office in Melbourne and increasing headcount fivefold since the beginning of 2016.
