2015 Highlight

Highlight would be working nonstop for four months in one of the most gorgeous countries in the world doing what makes me happiest, with people that are now my dearest friends. #800words!

2015 Lowlight

I can honestly say my life is getting better and better each year and I’ve been fortunate enough to not have much tragedy in my life. The only lowlight I can think of off the top of my head is when my dad ate my gelato. Dammit, dad!

Story of the year

Michelle Payne, the first female jockey to ever win the Melbourne Cup.  What an inspirational story.

Most notable trend

In terms of TV, quality Australian drama seems to be back in trend and it’s great to see everyone investing in telling more Australian stories in 2016.

What are you excited about for 2016?

I’m excited for what projects are to come in my career! 800 Words has a second series on the way and I am so looking forward to tackling that again next year since it was so much fun to be a part of. Hopefully after that there will be more characters for me to sink my teeth into and I might even tackle the big LA at some point.
