Elka Whalan’s power of positivity reaching dream team of women!

Olympian, wife, mother and television personality Elka Whalan has launched her new website and online forum called QueenHood, to bring women together, to encourage, unite, empower, uplift and support each another in life, work and play.

QueenHood goes live today and will feature a series of short, real, inspiring and funny articles written by Aussie mums, hard-working women and other well-known Australian women. They will cover That Mum (Motherhood), Work It (Working Woman), She’s Got That Look (Style) and Bust a Move (Health & Wellness).

Whalan said starting QueenHood came to her many years ago having always longed to encourage and lift women up.

“Women become a natural gravitation after becoming a mother, juggling it all and embracing the incredible talents and gifts we all have. We all have amazing women around us, women who inspire, encourage, support, tell the truth when needed and above all don’t judge. I want QueenHood to be a place where all Australian women can enjoy this kind of wisdom. I feel passionately that it’s time we stop comparing, share more knowledge and do more caring as women and that’s what QueenHood is about, moving forward in a positive way together and stronger.

“I look forward to sharing positive articles, clips and events, and content that is both intimate and entertaining.”

QueenHood’s first event – Work It, for the working wonder woman – will be held on Tuesday 27 September at Sydney’s Royal Hotel Paddington with three successful working women we all know and love, author and TV personality Jessica Rowe, Sunrise host Edwina Bartholomew and CEO and Founder of Thrive PR Leilani Abels.
